Location. Located across the boulevard from the internationally famous Copacabana Beach, the Windsor Excelsior Hotel offers accommodations within five kilometers of the Ipanema Beach. This hotel lies within a five-kilometer radius of Sugar Loaf and the natural exhibits at Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. Seven kilometers away, guests can board the funicular that ascends Corcovado, the site of the Christ the Redeemer statue.
Hotel Features. The hotel's Excelsior restaurant is noted for its opulent buffets and complimentary guest breakfast buffet. International fare with Brazilian flourishes accent the restaurant's views of Avenida Atlantica, while the Rooftop Bar serves poolside snacks and drinks until early evening.
